Web Summarizer is a browser extension that provides AI-powered summarization, text explanation, chat-based Q&A, and related features for web pages, PDFs, and YouTube videos. The Service includes both the browser extension and the backend infrastructure that powers it.

3. User Accounts

Some features require a Google account sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.

4. Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Free accounts receive a limited number of AI credits. Paid plans provide additional credits, features, and model access as described on our pricing page.

• Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis depending on the plan selected.
• We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans.
• You may cancel or change your plan at any time.
• Credits do not roll over between billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security measures.
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
• Use the Service to generate harmful, misleading, or deceptive content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the backend services.
• Automate access to the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.

6. Intellectual Property

The Web Summarizer extension source code is open source under its published license. The Service's backend infrastructure, brand assets, and design are proprietary. AI-generated outputs are provided for your personal or professional use; we make no claim of ownership over content you submit or AI responses generated from your content.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and others) to process requests. These providers have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party providers.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• AI-generated outputs are accurate, complete, or free of errors.
• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• The Service will meet your specific requirements.

AI outputs should not be relied upon as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). Always verify important information independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Web Summarizer and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, regardless of the cause of action.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this document when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination
